In 5 days we will be leaving on our trip to Indiana to see J.J. and Sam's wedding. I am very excited to get out of the everyday routine. And I am so looking forward to meeting Sam and to see my son. They were officially married in November but they wanted to have a nice wedding with family and friends. Most of her family lives in Indiana and we are about the only ones who are coming from our family.
We are making this a family vacation and on the way home we are going to visit Nauvoo. It is only a couple of hours away from J.J.'s home and the church history will be very interesting.
But in the meantime there is so much to get ready, we have a lot of shopping to do. Everyone in our house needs some new clothes for the wedding. We will need to get our truck serviced and packed. It is more expensive to take the truck but we are taking our truck so we can take some stuff for J.J. that he left behind.
I also need to find the perfect gift for them. They are registered at walmart so I looked to see what I could get for them from that but it is hard to tell what they really need.
When I think of all the things that J.J. has been through I worried so much for him. But I am so happy that he found Sam to share his life with. She has given him happiness and he has someone to love and care for.
I hope they can be as happy as me and Jay have been the last 25 years. WOW does that make me feel old.
